Baton Rouge's craft cocktails & flavorful food did not disappoint! This is not a typical Spain themed restaurant so be ready for a New Orleans/Creole feel!

If you want to switch things up and get some Asian inspired food this place is for you. Toward the end of our trip we wanted something that was not Spanish and this hit the spot. It ended up being one of my favorite meals while I was in Madrid.

We liked the menu so much we had a hard time narrowing down our choices so we got four (but three would have been a good portion size for us). The Taco Pekines was a duck taco on roti with cucumbers, radish, red onion, and hoisin sauce. This was one large taco that we cut in half. This was our favorite of the night!

Our second favorite was the pork gyoza. It had a flavorful dipping sauce and excellent portion size.

The other two were good as well. Vegetarian spring rolls and the chicken wings. Both with great portion sizes.

They refilled our waters without us asking. I was surprised that they brought us water without us even asking.

Another nice touch was the popcorn while we were looking over the menu.

I can't forget to mention that we had cocktails that were great too. We had the Cuppa tea cocktail and Bacano and both were unique and thoughtful combinations of flavors.

these guys are cocktail WIZARDS! not one miss. the flavor combinations are so bold, and the risky gambles pay off every time! the follow the goat cocktail with the cheese inspired me to write this while still in the process of drinking it, I've never had a better Cocktail. they are masters of technique, great showmen, and the bearded bartender has great stories. the music is just the right volume, and it's so relaxing to be here. it's an experience to watch these guys doing their art. it's also very safe here, a guy groped my friend and was immediately kicked out. I'd become a regular if I lived here.

This place is a gem. They have a huge selection of whiskies and other cocktails. The food was also great and the staff is friendly. Really a fantastic experience and highly recommended.

Best cocktail bar in Madrid by a mile. Madmen cocktail is a must for any lover of whiskey/ complex cocktails. Everything about this place is 10/10 an absolute must visit.
Diego was very attentive and you could tell how passionate he was about the place and the cocktails! You must tell me how to make the madmen cocktail!

We found Baton Rouge randomly on yelp and we just couldn't be happier! Tranquil place, just the right environment for some friends who want to drink and discuss. We drank two runs of cocktails, very delicious and well made. The price is reasonable. It did take a little bit longer for the cocktails to be made but it didn't bother us at all, we actually appreciated the fact that they brougt us water with fresh squeezed lemon just as a refreshment before ordering the actual cocktails(that is very common in Greece also) Last but not least we loved their menu card, it is well designed and pretty self-explanatory!Keep it up guys!!

We just had a few drinks at the bar. Very friendly and patient bar tender (and adorable too). Ambiance is pretty cool, we are a bunch of 40 year olds and didn't feel too old or young for us. Big mix of ages. I had the mango drink and my friend a capirina.

I had one of the best craft cocktails in Madrid. The mixologists definitely knew what they were doing. Al I said was, "I like it spicy" and they took it from there. DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Highly recommend!

Diego is an amazingly kind and informative host, and their house vermouth is delicious! It seems as though this bar hadn't got the recognition it deserves. A hidden gem of the city in this tourist's opinion.

Just like the others say. Not a big, loud place. It's fantastic to get away from everything and just relax for a while. Drinks could be cheaper, and service could be faster, so I'd be one of the folks ordering a double of whatever I'll be drinking.
