Chu's Cafe

I got takeout recently and it's pretty good! I definitely recommend the chicken with broccoli or sesame chicken if you're looking for some classic American Chinese food. To go a bit more authentic, I would one hundred percent suggest the sliced fish in a chili sauce. Not as much veggies that I would like but the hot chili sauce is delicious and portions are fantastic. I also really like bamboo shoots so I get that with shredded pork.

Now for my standard comments. There's not too much space to eat in or too many employees, not like they used to have. Service is not bad. Takeout is pretty quick if you call ahead or order online.

You guys need to control your pricing! $20 for pepper, steak and onions is insane

I only go there because it's the only game in town but now you price yourself out of wanting to go there

This restaurant suffered the wrath of Covid And the wrath of minimum wage. But other restaurants have found away, not to overprice their food. I just ate 5 ounces of beef and an onion for $20 and I will not go back until you guys sort out your pricing.

No one was in the restaurant when I got there and I now understand why

Too many restaurants are trying to raise prices to make up for lack of participation since Covid it's a formula for failure

We moved back into the area into a condo in The Hills. We were looking forward to being able to go to Chu's again. We had gone here regularly about 15 years ago, and we really enjoyed it.

We arrived the intention of dining in but it had no atmosphere and the place was empty on a rainy Friday night. The two young women working the counter were unprofessional and not very competent. It took several attempts for them to key in our order correctly and they overcharged me when I went to pay the bill.

We ate the food back at our home and it was a disappointment. No flavor and nothing like what good Chinese food should taste like. We will not return unless big changes are made.

If you haven't been in a while it's time to go back! Everything was delicious and exactly as expected. Pepper steak, fried rice, steamed shrimp, very fresh and large portions. Not greasy or too salty at all. I'm so glad I tried it again! Definitely give them a try or another try!

Been here many times, nice service and decent food. Price is good and has large portions.

We have tried the food here Time after time. We were hopeful when we saw new Mgmt. The soups were OK; shu Mai was just OK, Lo Mein had no sauce- so basically just pasta, chicken heavily breaded and cut into strange shapes; moo shu tasteless. We won't go again. If Mgmt read reviews they would hire a new team of cooks. We will toss the leftovers.

The Zha Jiang Mian isn't very good after two attempts - I forgot I had ordered it before and ordered it again. Both times it was on the plain side and the noodles were mushy. During the pandemic they were taking plenty of precautions. Quality of other items is about average for take-away Chinese food in the area.

Ordered takeout on a very busy night for them. Someone was upset that food was delayed, but the staff handled the business with such kindness and apologized profusely. Really delicious food and excellent service. Will definitely return and highly recommend!! :)

Best Chinese takeout around! The owners are always so nice and greet you with a smile! We ordered $100 worth of food, from soup, appetizers and entrees and everything was delicious!!! Love this place!
