Clinica Planas

I did a face refilling surgery and a mentoplasty surgery in Clinica Planas. Doctors Espino and Sieira. Results: Zero. Same face before and after surgery. 6000 euros to the garbage. Doctors were kidding me.

I had rhinoplasty in this clinic and I would not recommend it to anyone and here is why. I had a very simple case, a slightly long nose with a minor droop when I smiled. I wanted to reduce it just a little and define my tip. My doctor was Jorge Planas who is the most talked up surgeon in Spain and the son of the founder of the clinic. I should have probably never returned after the initial consultation as he was very cold, distant and was acting like he was doing me a favor by talking to me. After having my pictures taken Doctor Planas placed a transparent sheet of paper on it and drew on it with a pencil to show me how my nose will turn out. The day before the surgery I was checked into the clinic at 7PM and checked out the day after the surgery at 5 PM. They charged me for three FULL days at a 5 star hotel rate. The lady who was responsible for anesthesia was ( I can not think of another word) evil incarnate, due to her negligence 3 weeks before I had surgery a patient died after blood leaked into her lungs. She was very superficial and her attempt to pretend being nice was just creepy. She was tense and seemed like she was putting a lot of effort into not charging at people. She kept me anesthetized the entire day which devastated my system, I became very depressive and did not want to live anymore, the symptoms persisted for almost almost three weeks. While I was still under the influence of tranquilizers after the surgery doctor Planas came up to my room to tell me that he could not do the tip as I wanted (!!!), after 7 days they took my caste off and I wanted to throw myself off of the bridge, the nose turned out nothing like I wanted and nothing like the doctor drew. My nostrils became asymmetrical, the bridge of my nose was not fixed as it was supposed to be and it's 'open', and the tip was round and shapeless. I had a better nose before going under the knife and deeply regret ever going to the Planas Clinic. I paid enormous amount of money to have my face ruined. I recently went to another doctor for a consultation because my nose hurts a lot when I put my glasses on (mind you it's been years since I had my surgery) and this doctor explained to me that my nose was an outcome of a very sloppy, unprofessional job and my bones were not titled after being filed down as they should have been hence the pain and the nostrils were stitched clumsily hence the lack of symmetry. My advice: don't make the same mistake I made and go to a doctor because his name is well marketed. Jorge Planas may have carried out successful surgeries in his life but the older he become the less effort he seems to put into his work as he already has a name and does not feel like he needs to respect his patients and do the best he can, instead he works like a bored butcher who has nothing lose as he's the only butcher in town. Please consult SEVERAL doctors, ask them to show you before and afters of noses similar to yours, ask them to explain the procedure to you and above all do what I did not - trust your intuition! If it does not feel right, get out of there! Hope this review saves at least one woman from going through what I went through! Good luck to everyone!
