I've been a semi-regular in The Court Oak for a number of years. I used to live around the corner and it was genuinely my local for a number of years (although I spent more time in The Bell, which was a much longer jaunt but a better pub, and still is). However, for a quick midweek pint and for their quiz night in particular it was hard to beat. We have friends who now live a stones throw from the place, so I'm still in the place at least one every month or so.

The best thing about The Court Oak is the really impressive beer garden. Most pub beer gardens are simply an outside space with a few tables and chairs. This is a proper garden and an original feature from when the pub was built. It might not look much from the outside - situated as it is on a weird roundabout at the back end of Harborne - but the garden is really worth checking out.

I've been to this pub several times, pretty standard pub just your standard drinks and has some pub food all for decent reasonable price. They have a great beer garden and in the summer it's really nice. Free parking on site too.

Fairly decent pub on the edge of Quinton that has an amazingly vast beer garden. Inside it's all open plan with a bar that dominates the space. At weekends its popular with families - who go there I think for the food, which is pretty decent.

It's very much a locals pub and usually has a crowd of chaps at the bar. It's a nice place to head in the summer when the beer garden is looking at its finest.

As well as the ubiquitous quiz night (twice a week) they also have barbecues. Staff are really nice and there's a good selection of wines - buy two glasses of wine get the rest of the bottle free offers abound.

Great ember inns pub. Very good service yet the staff often seem to get
orders wrong and the food does take a while to come to the table.
the outside garden is fantastic in the summer and the interior is lovely and welcoming

This is a lovely Ember Inns pub, with large open spaces and plenty of tables.

Very good service from the staff and any problems with the order are soon smoothly and easily sorted out.

The menu is the standard Ember Inns one which provides a large variety of food for everyone to choose something that they like, however the standard of cooking it seems better at the Court Oak rather than other local outlets.

It is lovely to sit inside in the winter, it's very welcoming with a large open fire and lots of comfy seats. It's even nicer to sit outside in the summer if it's not raining!! Although as with other pub gardens, the excessive amount of smokers can ruin the outside experience.

Could be easier to park there!
