It's taken me a long time to write this one. Sign outside said woman's haircut £25.
Ok then.
Pros:
- Walked in, got an appointment and only waited a few minutes for my turn. Cool!
Cons:
- I think this salon is supported or partially owned by a certain hair care product company because she wouldn't stop chatting away about the shampoo and conditioner, trying to sell me some for later. As did the stylist later when he was putting product in my hair.
- Stylist gave me a mom mullet with sideways bangs...or front layers with asymmetrical fringe as he called it.
- Went to the counter and they charged me 45 pounds plus tax. For a "senior stylist, long haircut"....my hair was a little above my shoulders.
After it had grown out a bit and I cut my fringe back into a straight line I didn't mind it but that's not what's supposed to happen after a haircut. I didn't say anything about the charge at the time, I should have mentioned the sign outside but I was just too shy.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jessica L.London, United Kingdom1203 Feb 2011First to Review
Very nice hair salon, went for a haircut and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to. I got a wash, cut, and dry for 30. Reasonably priced. Men's cuts are cheaper, my boyfriend got one from here as well and it turned out great. The atmosphere, decor, and staff are very trendy and stylish. Just want you want from a salon!

First time at Cutting Crew (My hair used to be thick and wavy and since it has changed in recent years, I had been having trouble finding someone who could give me a good haircut...shaggy, layered, with as much volume and curl as possible.)They suggested 2 of their stylists and I called and made an appointment Nothing short of great! He is a really good listener, knew what I wanted and gave me a fabulous haircut. I am going back next time for color and never plan to leave. :-) The shop is very pleasant and comfortable. The fees are explained up front and are reasonable. Very happy to have found him and the Cutting Crew

I have moved to willsden in June and started going to cutting crew They do an AMAZING job every time They listen to exactly what I ask them to do, and my hair always looks perfect. They take time when cutting my hair, and are true professionals. I have sent other people to Cutting crew too, and they have been extremely satisfied. They have a truly great stylists.

I've been a customer for a few years now and in general I like the salon. Because I often go there on short notice I've had many different hairdressers and most of them did a very good job and were friendly but today I was very disappointed. The name of the stylist was Christos. I'm sure he knows how to cut hair but he doesn't seem to be very good at listening to what a customer wants. 44 pounds for a cut without any fancy treatment or blow dry is a lot of money for me and I expect to get the cut I want. Next time I will make sure I ask for Phoenix. She has been very helpful in the past making sure I'm happy with the cut, once she even googled for the picture of an actress because I said I liked her fringe. Thanks for that :)
