Derby Market Hall is a located in a historic building, giving it a great bustling atmosphere. It is located near the Assembly Rooms and is home to stores of all kinds- ranging from knitting to pet food.
Although the range of stores can sometimes be overwhelming, staff that I have spoke to have always been very helpful with any questions I have had to ask.
Overall a unique find if you want to get away from the Westfields Centre. If you don't have much time on your hands though, save it for another day as to get a proper look around it takes a while!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (bigblo…)Derby, United Kingdom1178928 Sept 2008
The best thing about this place is the fish market. Although it is much reduced in size these days you can get stuff like Whitby crabs that you won't get in a supermarket. Most of the stallholders are really knowledgeable and helpful especially if you need advice on how to cook the fish and they will always fillet or skin it for you.
