I absolutely loved Grégory and his magic he worked on my hair with a beautiful Balayage. I'm a brunette and needed some brightness but didn't want to leave a blonde or with orange stripes, and he delivered on bringing life to my hair while keeping me a healthy brunette;) His energy was calming and kind, and truly talented at his craft. I should mention I'm a hair Colorist at a high end salon in Chicago (making me a bit more picky) but I wanted to get some French magic done while visiting Paris with my Husband, Gregory def delivered. Julien made blowing out my Kardashian like hair (long, thick, curly) seem easy while having fun convo, and the results were a beautiful bouncy blowout;) Def recommend this salon. Did I mention they were super accommodating and got me in within an hour or two of my calling that day (not due to not being busy because they were) but I said I was leaving the next day and must've heard the desperation in my voice over the phone;)

Just a heads up for those traveling from the states. If you're one to count every cent you spend (my husband def is and was confused), ask questions BEFORE getting hair done anywhere you go. This IS NOT a negative comment about this salon at all, just a heads up that in most salons in Paris it's NOT UNUSUAL to pay extra for things like shampoo and conditioner. Most places back home only charge extra for deep conditioning, so I hate to see negative reviews taking away from great work over things that are pretty standard there;) Just factor that in before you get hair done abroad.

I'll definitely be back next visit even if just for a blowout, glaze or to say hi. Thx again Gregory and Julien my hair is looking beautiful on the flight home!

Booked a blowout for 4pm and I waited 30 minutes before my hair was washed due to them being "busy". No apologies given. The management is so rude they are short with you when you ask questions and can't be bothered to give any type of customer service. You prepay for your service ahead of time by design. No surprise. Otherwise I am certain people would walk out without paying due to their lack of skill and lateness.

Matthew a young Asian man did my hair and he clearly is fresh out of hair school and knew how to do very little. They have the shampoo person pushing products as well as the stylist. I am not here for products there are 1000 pharmacy's to purchase products from in Paris. I came for a blow out. Pretty simple.
I would avoid this location at all costs.

Dessange lost a jewel called Vanessa from their Avenue Montaigne branch and recently lost Claudia too who was a training instructor & director . what is going on ? Dessange is losing its edge. Can anybody advise where Vanessa moved to?

I agree with the other reviews and wished I had looked here first. My wash and blow dry cost $98 with a 15% (decent) tip. They were very nice, friendly and their work was very good. But I typically pay $30-$40 in Los Angeles including tip for this service.

I had THE MOST incredible salon experience twice while in Paris. Gregory took so much care with my hair -it was very dry when I arrived and he did an amazing conditioning treatment to rehydrate my hair along with the most beautiful blow dry for my event. The attention to detail from beginning to end was more than I could ask for and I hope to visit the salon again soon next time I come to Paris!

I was very impressed when I walked into this beautiful salon and happy to see they use Kerastase. I was going out to the Opera with my husband and wanted an American blowdry which they call brushing in Paris. The message chair they sit you in was amazing during the washing. As an American I get blowouts once a week in the states and pay $40. I was shocked to find out that this salon charged $15 euro extra to have your hair conditioned after the shampoo. In the states conditioner is included. I was also shocked to find out that my simple blowout "brushing" came to $75 euro. My hotel told me most salons in the area charge &30-45 euro for this service. My only other complaint was the products they used did not tame my fly aways. In the states my salon uses kerastase too and my hair looks healthy and flawless. Here I had to go back to my hotel to add serum to tame it.

I'm visiting from California and was struggling to find a stylist in Paris on a vacation. Thanks to the yelp reviews I found Florian. I love getting blow dry often but I feel like I never knew how good the wash and conditioner feels until Florian.it was the most amazing hair wash, cut and style. He really listens, is completely approachable, understands English and is technically so great with hair. I never upload pictures on yelp but i had to upload the hair cut he gave me. That way you can see for yourself. I'm going to have a hard time finding someone back in California after the amazing experience. Don't think twice about going to Florian. You can't go wrong.

I realized my hairdryer didn't work in Paris even with the converter. I called Dessange for an appointment and they were able to get me in right away. The salon is nice and bright and clean. The chairs you sit in while getting your hair washed are comfortable and even massage your legs and back! I had my hair shampooed, conditioned, cut, blow dried and styled for a very reasonable price, and comparable to the same services/prices in the states. Gregory Carvalho was my stylist and he was great! He was very nice, professional and did an amazing job with my hair. His English was much better than my French too. :) I was even given a complimentary cute, black hand-purse when I was checking out. I highly recommend!

I had the very best haircut I have ever had at this salon. Florian was thoughtful, creative and technically very skilled. I have very short auburn hair that shows every scissor cut and he showed me how to achieve a more sophisticated and updated cut for my hair. I highly recommend Florian and the immaculate salon.
