We had a private dinner here for a friend's wedding.
The food served were delicious and the service was impeccable. The waiter was funny and made small talks when appropriate. I guess given it was a private event, the portion size was not the usual ones. I got to have seconds of the pasta dish (full menu on the picture attached). The crispy skin of the seared piglet was delightful and the tiramisu was very rich, the richest i had in Milan i would say.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 19 Oct 2023
Stopped by for a bite while out shopping. I was looking for pasta spot but couldn't pass up the four seasons. I sat in the lobby and ordered a lobster Focaccia sandwich. It was delicious and not too heavy. I loved the decor or the hotel and there were plenty of photo opportunities with all of the mirrors here.

I'm a Four Seasons fan and try to stay at their locations whenever traveling if possible. This hotel was beautiful and had a great location close to all the shopping. Wasn't exactly downtown Milan with touristy stuff but it wasn't far either.
Lobby bar is really nicely decorated and the service was great.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sean L.McLean, United States126209751018 Apr 2022
Four Seasons Hotel Zelo Restaurant-
Four Seasons 5-star attentive services thru- out! Creative Italian cuisine is really good, especially the RAW oyster/shrimp/ uni linguine & the roasted pork are exceptional & surprisingly good!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Gerald E.Escondido, United States1773222 Apr 2022
An absolute fantastic stay for my 50th Birthday. The hotel and their staff were superb. The hotel and room were very clean and beautiful. Everyone was extremely helpful and nice. My special day was topped off with a room service surprise of champagne, strawberries and my very own birthday chocolate cake. Restaurants, roomservice and lounge were 5star.
The only down fall was checking out at 3am with Alfhad. He checked us in and was extremely nice but on check out was rude and aggressive.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jeffrey C.Guilford, United States1117633913 May 2019
What a tremendous combination of history, culture and sophistication with that tradition level of Four Seasons service.
Milan is one of my favorite cities and the Four Seasons is my go to hotel while visiting this fabulous city.
My Negroni was sheer perfection with bar snacks that are equally delightful.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sharifi J.Los Angeles, United States229727 Aug 2017
The staff is very polite and friendly. We had a. I've played if fruits delivered to the room as soon as we checked in. The room had a great garden view. Very large closet and nice bathroom. The room has plenty of electrical outlets with converter for US phone chargers.
The concierge was very helpful in finding and suggesting restaurants.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Courtney D.Jersey City, United States11911911311 Jan 2014Updated review
Best Brunch in Italy and Possibly the World - il Teatro at Four Seasons Hotel (Milan, Italy)
These steps lead you to the best brunch in Italy and possibly the world! We are not exaggerating! We almost lost our minds at il Teatro's Sunday Brunch at Four Seasons Milan.
I really didn't expect the Four Season's Brunch to be so fun, relaxed and whimsical but it was! I loved how everyone from the toddlers to the more mature group were DRESSED! Seriously, I saw an eighty-plus year old woman rocking a badass Gucci ensemble with fishnets and cute booties--and they were from this season! I mean, we are in Milano.
Once you reach the bottom of the stairs you are greeted by one of the lovely il Teatro "guides" and they will take you on a little journey around the restaurant so you can get your bearings and create your tactile plan of action! Here is our version of the tour:
THE MAIN DINING ROOM
In the main dining room you can visit the egg station or the raw bar for oysters. There also isn't a shortage of Prosecco. We just let the cocktails keep on flowing, but please note that you pay for every single one--our cocktail bill was more than the brunch!
THE KITCHEN
This is where the magic happens! This is not just a working kitchen; there is a full buffet inside with some fantastic food options as well as two chef's tables! Other than the Chocolate Room, I think the kitchen is my favorite! They have so many options:
- Pasta
- Pizza
- Polenta
- Carving Station
- Soup
- And so much more!
THE CHOCOLATE ROOM
The "Chic"olate Room is everything and more. We dedicated an entire post to it. This year's theme was inspired by Milan's Fashion Week.
THE BOTTOM OF THE STAIRS (FOYER)
Before you can even reach the restaurant there are all kinds of goodies for you from sweets to savory meats. It was really hard to figure out where to start.
Cheese & Bread
I totally missed this section until the end of the meal! I was far too distracted by the desserts!
The Sweets
No words can describe how good this all is. I am glad we were able to go and walk all 250 steps at the Duomo afterwards to burn off the calories!
Beautiful Grounds
Besides the fantastic food and service Four Seasons Milan has to offer; you can also enjoy the beautiful architecture of the property. Originally a convent dating back to the 15th century, the building is now a gorgeous hotel where Dr. J, my sister and I have all decided to hold some portion of each of our weddings here!
La Veranda
I am pretty sure my rehearsal dinner will be here.
If you get a chance you HAVE to visit the Four Seasons in Milan. It is only a short train ride away from Venice and other popular destinations. You will not regret it, we promise!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 01 Jan 2014Previous reviewIf "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" was filmed in Italy this is EXACTLY how I would imagine it to be. This is the Casa del Cioccolato in true Milanese fashion which is located at il Teatro at the Four Seasons Hotel in Milan. The entire room--walls, tables, etc.--is made of chocolate and the new design was inspired by Milan's Fashion Week and was given the title "Chic"olate Room. Now that we know this room changes every year, we now have an excuse to visit Milan every year! I wish everyone in the world could experience this but since that is not possible all we can do is just show you...enjoy the photos.
Can't wait to see what they have in store for all the chocoholics next year! - Marcos F.Newark, United States1866919311 Aug 2018
One of the nicest hotels I have ever been in. The staff is extremely attentive and accommodating. You are not just paying for a great hotel in a great location, you are paying for extraordinary service and amenities as well. I hope you enjoy if you end up going.

My 100th review of 2014:
OMG...everything about this hotel is Manifico!
I love the four seasons!! the only problem with me is that every four seasons I go to are all surrounded by expensive stores, I'm not going to name drop all the non-italian brands so I'm going with the Prada, Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo just to name a few (RAWR) I just love it but I ended up getting a Louis anyways (just because taxes are so much better in Italy! - i actually saved $150 bucks with taxes and the whole exchange rate thing and I swear it's much cheaper)
Though situated in the most expensive or glamorous place in Milano you're not far from the center which is the Duomo. Although Milano is just an awesome town it's pretty small, but this isn't a review of Milano but the Four Seasons.
Did you know? That this four seasons used to hold a convent? Read it in their magazine or history. (man that sounded a lot like Hogwarts, the history lol) It's so peaceful until you have thunderstorms in the middle of the night (which was so weird but I was so tired that I woke up and fell back asleep).
The people there are so nice. The employees are really helpful. When we checked in the Front Desk person who was clearly french from her accent was really really nice. She walked us to our room and even explained every single detail. Helped us how to get to and from everywhere. She was really friendly! I've been to other Four Seasons, and it's usually the bell boy that does that, but an actually person from the front desk!
They still had welcome drinks and welcome desserts! They also have fruit that they replenish every day and free water. I've been to other Four Seasons and this was the first time on the welcome drinks and desserts...usually it's just the fruit and the water.
We had breakfast at the at the Main Dining room in the Front. There wasn't much...I mean you got the usuals, Yogurt - they had Yakult too couldn't help but take some to go lol - where was my manners lol, pastries, cereal, nothing hot but it was all you can eat! and they replace it every time some one takes something it was unbelievable. All the hot items you had to order but it was all you can eat too...i felt uncomfortable asking for eggs, hash browns, pancakes, etc...that was kind of rude but when in ...oh wrong city...hahahHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
