Frank Ogden Jewellers

A really nice old-fashioned independent jewellers. The shop is smart and well-stocked, and the staff very friendly and helpful. They seem to sell mid-price brands, so probably closer to Beaverbrooks/F. Hinds than Goldsmiths/ Ernest Jones. The service, however, is much better than anything you will find in the national chains.
I bought two Seiko watches and got a good deal on them (wouldn't have bought two otherwise!). The staff didn't try to rush me whilst I was choosing and took a lot of trouble over adjusting the bracelets to get them just right. If only all jewellers were this good! I am delighted with my purchases and, although I don't live locally, will definitely be visiting this shop again.
