Have been here twice. Once to diagnose an electronic fault, which they did at a low cost (about £50 for a full diagnostic check i think). Second, to replace two tyres and re-align tracking which was again competitively priced (I checked prices and booked online). The staff are friendly, and whilst I am very wary of garages trying to scam their customers, I got the impression that this may not be too common here, especially if you are going in for something simple and have a little knowledge of cars.
I will still take my car to 'Just MOTs' for it MOT as they have no incentive to fail the car, a garage that does work on cars always does.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (Toadof…)Stafford, United Kingdom425 Apr 2011
Halfords Autocentre Exeter.
My car was there for over 9 days for a simple repair (that was not intermittant, so easy to find), car comes back filthy (when it went in gleeming and freshly polished), they broke the power steering on the car by 'shaking the steering wheel vigorously' - to find a fault that was not even steering related.
Although they broke my power steering pump, I wouldn't dare take the car back there to get it 'fixed' for fear of what they might break next!
Avoid this garage if you value your pride and joy.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (jaybee…)Brighton, United Kingdom123 Aug 2012
I have to concur with negative reviews I had an okay relationship with the old manager but basically after a free safetu check got the advice to spend £400 on brakes that are fine at least up until the next MOT I'm switiching to an independent garage where they're not pressured to reach targets etc
