I had an outstanding experience at Nikki's salon. From the moment I walked in, Nikki made me feel incredibly welcome. She took the time to sit down with me and really listen to my desires, and then offered her expert advice on what would work best for my haircut.

Nikki's hands are pure magic. The head massage during the hair wash was an absolute treat, and it truly added a luxurious touch to the experience. Then I was offered a drink and when it came to styling my hair, Nikki demonstrated her professional skills, leaving me absolutely thrilled with the results.

Nikki recommended different products to help maintain the health and vitality of my hair, and I greatly appreciated her personalized guidance.

I recommend Nikki to anyone in search of a skilled and welcoming hairstylist. I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you so much, Nikki, for making me look and feel fantastic!

I am very satisfied with my whole experience at this Headmasters Store! I got an appointment within the next day, got 50% off colour, didn't get talked into buying products or getting special treatment, loved the guy Leo who cut my hair, loved the head massage, loved the result AND..drum rooooooll the price was EXACTLY the one they told me beforehand!
And let's be real, this does happen alot... here an extra shampoo, there an additional color and Bob's your uncle...the price is much higher!

They have the 50% of colour deal three times a year, so that's pretty neat. All in all (Half head Color, Toner, Hair Cut, Blow dry) I payed 87 quid.

I also really liked that he used the Balayage technique and not foils which supposedly gives you a sun-kissed natural looking hair colour.

I had a terrible experience here. I made an appointment for a full head of blonde highlights, cut and blow dry. I showed the hairdresser the picture of what I wanted (I've been having it highlighted blonde for years so I just showed him an old photo of me). It looked ok when I left the salon but when I got home I realised there was a lot of dark hair still showing at the roots. So much so that when I went to my grandmas she said 'I thought you were going to get your roots done?'.
I made another appointment for a redo and was told that my hair would be done by the manager so I was hopeful that it would get sorted. She told me that there was nothing wrong with how the hairdresser had done my hair it was just a different style and said I shouldn't have let my roots grow out for so long and I should be more specific with the stylist next time but she said she would add some more highlights. She added so many to the top of my head to the point where it no longer matches the rest of my hair because the top is a solid block of colour whereas the rest is blended and looks like normal highlights. Not just that but she used an orange toner so my roots and baby hairs turned orange. When I got home and properly inspected it I was so upset that I made an appointment at a different salon near my house to put toner in it the same day (that totals 3 colour appointments in one week!) . Luckily the toner managed to reduce the orange except for on my baby hairs which are still awful and unfortunately my hair is still uneven , looks patchy and is not the nice blonde colour it used to be before. I've never experienced this before in eight years of getting highlights.
If you're going to go to a headmasters salon I would recommend headmasters soho - avoid Paddington at all costs.

When I made the appointment, I almost canceled it because of the reviews I found online but a.) I was desperate and b.) I figured it was the hair dresser not the salon that makes or breaks the experience. So I gave Headmasters Paddington a chance.

I had Alex who on all levels was wonderfully pleasant, professional and listened to what I asked for. She chopped about 5 inches off and gave me a half a head of highlights. The cut was fine, great actually and the colour of the blonde that I wanted was spot on. However... I walked out of the salon, went home and checked out my hair from all angels and discovered that I still had 1 inch roots.

The whole point of my regular salon visits is to cover up my roots... so when that doesn't happen (yet I paid for it to happen).. it's really disappointing.

Because of this... I won't be returning to Headmasters.

So I'm back to the drawing board in finding a London hair stylist. :(

The hairdresser I had , cut my ear instead of my hair last time I visited them.He or his manager did not apoligise instead blamed poor little me for moving my head.On previous occasions the same hairdresser cut my hair it was not brilliant but I am a little boy and all my mummy wanted was for my hair to look trim for school, she was not concerned about the style .
My ear was bleading non stop for whole morning and I had to visit St Mary's A and E and the lovely nurse said that the hairdresser should be a butcher instead.

"Indifferent hair cut and simply appalling service. I was greeted at reception by an androgynous creature in a miniskirt with a ring through its nose and two studs. It minced me over to a seat and gave me some magazines. By and by, my stylist Maxine came over and greeted me with the words "I am SUPPOSED TO BE doing your hair..." It transpired she was running late and she tried to fob me off with another stylist. I had specified I wanted a female stylist and in the end she agreed to do my hair. By this time I felt like something the cat had dragged in. I won't be going back to them again - I will go to my old Headmasters branch in Richmond - much further away but they did my hair beautifully! "

Walked into the store looking to buy an intensive nutrition conditioner for very dry and sensitised hair, as I keep blow-drying and straightening my hair really often and it gets really dry.

The girl looks at me and says that it's my responsibility to look after my hair, and that's the reason why it got really dry. Well, I guess the reason why I walked into the store is to buy a product in order TO LOOK AFTER MY HAIR. She gives me a dirty look and then tries to tell me that the product I want is not good at all for my needs and tries to recommend me some shampoos and masks for coloured hair.

SUCH A WASTE OF MY TIME! VERY UNHELPFUL STAFF!!!! And after I've taken my intensive nutrition conditioner to the till in order to pay it, the staff didn't even look at me or notice me, as they were too preoccupied to gossip, but as soon as a young man dressed in a suit walked into the store, they were both really interested into helping him. And I still had to wait for them to notice me!

This wasn't the first time I made a purchase at that salon. I used to be a regular customer and was very pleased with their services before, but this time..I am really disappointed!!


Staff don't know what they're talking about !

Had a cut and partial highlights. The stylist was very patient and willing to please. She used 3 different colors for the highlighting. They want to make you happy and it shows. I am very pleased with my cut and highlights. I only wish they had pictures of hair colors so I could of shown her want I wanted, but Nuala knew exactly what kind of look I was aiming for. I would recommend this salon.
