Ah, Ikea--the land of Swedish meatballs, affordable furniture, and the ultimate test of your relationship's endurance. Stepping into this labyrinth wonderland is like embarking on a quest to find the holy grail of home decor, except the grail is a $5 lamp and the quest involves navigating a maze the size of a small country.
First things first, forget everything you thought you knew about space and time because once you set foot in Ikea, you're in an alternate universe where the laws of physics don't apply. Seriously, this place is massive. It's like they built a shopping mall and then decided to throw in a furniture store as an afterthought.
And don't even get me started on the layout. Ikea's floor plan is like a twisted game of Tetris designed to make you question your sanity. You start off with good intentions, armed with a shopping list and a vague sense of direction, but within minutes you're wandering aimlessly through a sea of bookshelves, unable to tell your Billy from your Benno.
Oh, and did I mention the arrows? Ikea is basically a giant game of follow-the-arrow, except the arrows seem to have a mind of their own, leading you down endless corridors and dead ends like a demented game of Shoots and Ladders.
But fear not, brave shopper, for amidst the chaos and confusion lies hidden treasures waiting to be discovered. Sure, you may lose your sense of direction and maybe even your sanity along the way, but isn't that all part of the Ikea experience? So grab a shopping cart, hold onto your Swedish meatballs, and prepare to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Who knows, you might even make it out with that $5 lamp you never knew you needed.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Charles T.Duxbury, United States0713 May 2024

Food Review - Swedish meatballs with fries and peas. It's always so good for $10, but wish the food was hotter. Lukewarm.
Ikea is always so much fun to go to. It feels like a new place every step you go. Great place for inspiration on decorating. I own so many ikea products, but my room does not look like their model rooms.
Currently they have a back-to-school sale 15% off til Labor Day if anyone need school/dorm stuff.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 8 Dec 2023
Good store, exceptionally great staff. Special thanks to Evette and especially Avianna. Looking for the most direct route to the checkout area, Avianna personally walked me to the checkout lane and helped me get on my way. Employees at most retail outlets often won't go out of their way to help a customer in need. Not here. Thanks New England IKEA!

Often a madhouse but I find the prettiest things. And, I love the Swedish meatballs for lunch. Word to wise: don't come here during college move in weekend.

There are some places where I should not be left unsupervised and Ikea is one of them. I've been a fan of the brand for over 20 years and I always find plenty of items to put in my cart. I love wandering through the showcase rooms to get inspired ideas for ways to set up and decorate our spaces at home. I suggest going early since it does get pretty crowded as the day progresses. Plenty of parking and very easy to get to off the highway. Stop in the cafe before or after for a snack and be sure to check out the outlet before getting to the check out. I've found some great deals there. Will this furniture last for generations? No, but it looks great and as long as you don't move it too much after assembly, it will last.

Great place to get furniture and household items! I also got some food from the quick service area after the cashiers and unfortunately they forgot about my order so it took a while for my food to come out :(

I love shopping at ikea. I've gotten a lot of nice things from there just remember to go during the weekend if you go on a weekend it's a madhouse and will be annoying to shop. Eating there is always enjoyable as well. Yummy food and desserts :)

I had an incredible experience at IKEA recently. The staff's composure during a tornado warning was truly remarkable. They guided everyone to a safe hallway and even provided my young kids with cookies and water, which was a thoughtful touch. After the all-clear, we were able to resume shopping and, much to my husband's and our bank accounts' dismay, we found all the items we needed and more. Mainly, the Antilop high chair which is only an astonishing $30. IKEA's service and selection left a lasting impression on us.
