Nara Cafe & Hookah Lounge

Fun little place with a lot of different flavors to choose from. Not too loud, but still very lively and full of energy. We got a hookahs and drinks and had a great time :)

Went here once it's was weird at first, me and my two friends walked in just for a drink, and 2 girls walking out said something about not knowing they let white people in here. Which was weird but whatever we're buzzed don't care some people are just asses.

So we sit up at the bar pulled out money to buy a beer, the bartender just looks at us turns around and fiddles with something goes to the other end of the bar helps a different customer and never comes back or acknowledge we're there with money in hand to buy a beer.

Like I said were buzzed so we were patient and just waited my friend even used the bathroom and came back. We even tried to call out to the bartender and waved at her to get a beer, she ignored us. She even served another person at bar. So we left.

Not sure what their issue was this night or if they always provide this level customer service but it apparently our money wasn't good enough. I wouldn't return, or recommend to anybody.

Cool place nice layout wish they sold food, drinks are a reasonable price aswell as the hookah. Felt rushed by the sever in finishing but it was a good time!

Went to this place with a group of friends. Seriously the worst service I've ever had! I try to give everyone the benefit of doubt, but this was uncalled for....none of us were mean, needy, rude, nothing. They stood around in a circle (as I pictured) and we could hear them complaining about us [group was at the table, and 4 of us were at the bar.] Instead of waiting on us and doing their job they just gave us faces, attitude, and stood with their backs to us. Obviously a large group with separate tickets are going to tip you rather well, why wouldn't you be nice!?

I, and my friends, will never go back, and suggest you avoid this place.

The owner needs to care a bit more and fix the problem, because he's going to start losing a lot of business...with service like this, it's inevitable.

3 star because this place gives me the Ups & Downs. They're alright sometimes depending on who helps you and what kind of day they have been having. The hookahs aren't bad, but they're like $25. The drinks are pricey because the demand to be there is high.

This place is dope! Went on a Thursday, so it wasn't too busy...music was good, drinks strong, and the hookah was on point! I'm hookah fiend and have gotten hookah EVERYWHERE! Should check this place out...

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! This place has 0 beauty! The "beholder" has to be deaf,dumb, and blind to like this place!!!
Can I give this place less than one star? The bouncer is RUDE! He acts as if he has some real type of authority outside of sitting on his overweight butt outside of Nara and dictating who he feels is fit to enter. On top of that CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL! They treat EVERYONE as if they are low life thugs opposed to patrons! I PROMISE I will never visit this establishment again during my stay in STL. I refuse to hand my money to a company that doesn't appreciate my patronage. On top of the rude service.. the tables are gross and the seats are gross and have rips all over them! GROSS! This place is gross all the way around. You're never treated as a human being from the service at the door to when you actually begin spending$$$! Oh, let's not forget that their voicemail stated they don't charge a cover... but their bouncers were 100% charging ( to pocket the $$$) at the door! DISGUSTING!

This place is bullshit I am visiting from California and was hoping to enjoy a drink music and some hookah as I got in there security looked at my ID and then saw that I had my Vape pen in my hand and tell me I can't bring any but it's a hookah lounge I'm there to spend money what is the problem so they turned me away or asked me to leave it with security or put it back in my car

This place is terrible don't support this place they don't appreciate you as a customer and the charger gratuity for one person. This place will have you smoking on the same hookah for hours without changing the bowl. Security is very disrespectful at the door. The bathroom are messy and disgusting. And the crowd, I felt like if I accidentally stepped on someone's air Jordan that they were going to shoot me

Staff isn't very fast or attentive to customers. Some even seem a little snobbish. Overall unimpressed.
