01165 forever. I got two acceptances here but never attended due to family decisions. One for undergrad back in my community college days in the US, the other was for masters in 2021. This also happens to be my mother's alma mater too. She was here briefly when coming in from China. Although I didn't actually go here, I can only comment as a visitor and as a pupil of an alumni. Thanks mum. Based on what my mother and world newspapers told me this is one of the most prominent universities in the world. A lot of people from Singapore and possibly other national primarily in Asia come here to study. Student life here is a totally different compared to what I see in the US. First like California State Universities and UCs, this is a public university although Singapore itself is known for it's high ranking private education institutions such as Raffles. It's a bit of a far cry for those who went to prestigious schools and polytechnics in the area. For students who go here, it's not just academic based but also provides good services that serve a student's personal needs. It's a lot more comprehensive than a great majority of US universities too. Almost any department you cannot find in the US is here. Food is indeed cheap here and there are plenty of other options outside of campus.

Constantly ranked in the top 50 in the world, NUS is one of the best universities in Asia, along with fellow country rival NTU.
With more than 30,000 undergraduates and graduate students, NUS is the biggest university in Singapore.
The main Kent Ridge campus is around 1.5km2, housing 9 faculties, sport and recreational facilities and student housing. The campus also has its internal shuttle bus system, driving around campus, and connecting to the Law faculty in the Bukit Timah campus.
Cheap and a wide variety of food outlets are available at almost every faculty.
