The tecnician I talked to over the phone immediately had figured that with my older unit and a potential reformat, that it would be best just to first get the data off then worry about fixing the computer. I dropped the computer off and we agreed on just data recovery. Well amazed is an understatement. I received a call from him later that afternoon confirming that the data had been saved and he was backing everything up onto DVDs. Granted it wasn't cheap, but I'd pay twice the amount all over again. Absolutely professional, articulate and knowledgeable.
