Primark pretty much dominates the Houndshill shopping centre, with multiple floors accessible by either lift or escalator there is something for everyone when it comes to affordable off the hanger clothing. I have often picked up a nice shirt or hoodie for the fraction of the cost of a similar high-end brand name, if you are looking to kit yourself out with a new wardrobe then this is the place to shop. It is also disabled friendly with ramps and a nifty little lift at the back of the store that gives you access to the Houndshill.

I sort of like Primark but there's one thing that bugs me about them. Search through the stock in the menswear section and it seems 90% of the stock is either size XS or S. You might find the odd M but hardly anything in L or XL. As a result of this on my recent visit to this store having climbed several flights of stairs to reach menswear I came away empty handed. Had I been about half the size I am I'd probably have come away with several bags full. To be fair it's not just Blackpool, this seems to common to every Primark store. Perhaps they need to provide the purchasing department with a new typewriter that has a working "L" key on it.

This is one of the largest town centre Primarks. Located opposite the back of Blackpool Tower and with an entrance into the Hounds Hill centre, it is what was Littlewoods.
There are 3 floors with ladieswear taking up the majority. Obviously the clothes are super cheap and they do stock decent stuff. There are plenty of changing rooms and tills and if you've ever been to Marble Arch Primark this is a breeze!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (charle…)Carlisle, United Kingdom1715317 Jan 2009
I really wish we had one of these stores in Carlisle, we don't so it is a real treat to be able to go to this one when on a day trip to Blackpool.
Covering four floors this is the biggest Primark I have ever been to and it has a labyrinth of escalators to use to be able to access them.
Really you need a whole day just to shop here as the bargains and huge selection of departments truly do deserve your time.
My favourites are the childrens wear and shoe sections, a girl really can't have too many pairs, and the homewares are fantastic aswell.
I also love the accessories as you can pick up so much costume jewellery and it doesn't break the bank at all.
It was a definitely a bonus that Blackpool got one of these stores and has definitely made visiting here more attractive to me. Although donkey rides on the sea front are great aswell!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (claire…)Blackpool, United Kingdom2741 Oct 2008
Absolutley huge. i think, possibly the biggest Primark. Avoid on a weekend if possible - so, so busy.
Very good service though, never had a problem returning anything.
Love how cheap the jeans are - £6!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (Sea7…)Poulton-le-Fylde, United Kingdom106019 Nov 2008
This Primark is very large, with a really good kids dept on the top floor. There is lots of choice, which is nice as some Primarks might have a good ladieswear section but small childenswear dept.
The queues are good - not as long and winding as I've experienced in other Primarks, but that may just be luck!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (ryokoa…)Blackpool, United Kingdom0229 Mar 2010
Great shop for good price, product is not always good quality but you get what you pay for! :)
Good service too! Sometimes I lost the receipt but they are still willing to accept returns without receipt! Highly recommended!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (Polly0…)Blackpool, United Kingdom110714 Nov 2008

A very large Primark store over 4 floors. There are two lifts to access the floors and there are escalators and stairs. The ground floor has a split level with steps and a small lift to get up the four or so steps. However, the lift is often out of order and is difficult to use. It would be hard for a wheelchair user to have access to the top of the ground floor. The range of stock is good with womenswear being on the ground floor, lingerie and nightwear on the first floor, menswear and accessories on the second floor and childrenswear and home essentials on the third floor. The prices are very cheap and would advise anyone shopping in Blackpool to visit. The store's location is very central opposite the back entrance of the Blackpool Tower.

Good sized Primark store, in a good central location - right opposite the back of Blackpool Tower, you can't miss it - ask a friendly local for directions if you can't find it! This store has most of the main Primark rangesyou can easily spend an hour or so in there browsing and get some good bargains. Primark is renowned for being the best retailer of cheap and chic clothing, with most things under £12 or so. You can stock up on some great stocking-fillers, and home items aswell as clothes. There's everything from womenswear, menswear, kids, day, night, coats, jeans, jumpers, accessories, bags, shoes. However the Blackpool store has an absolutely rubbish selection of shoes, which lets it down a bit! If you're travelling to Blackpool anyway you might as well hop on the train for a little bit longer and go to the Manchester Primark store, as it's about double or triple the size and a lot more worthwhile!
