Went here for a Christmas party this week with friends. It was hopping in a Wednesday night with most tables taken. They put us in private room. The decor in the place is nice l. The server was really friendly, taking our drink and entree orders. We asked for separate checks and she gladly obliged.
I ordered the one piece fish and chips for $12. It's beer battered. Everyone's entree came out within 30 minutes. My haddock fish tasted good, though the batter was a bit on the heavy side. The fries were a little small and crumbly but tasted okay. The tartar sauce they give you has very good flavor but they don't give you much. I asked for two and it still wasn't enough.
One of the folks at my table ordered candy floss at the end of the meal which I was surprised with. Apparently it's complimentary, and I scooped up on the offer from our sever as well. A nice touch!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Klaus S.Hamilton, Canada0831 Aug 2021
We've been meaning to try this place for months. Today we had Sunday lunch here. Sorry to say we were not impressed. The place was not busy, but we did a lot of sitting and waiting. At the beginning, it took a while for a waitress to show up at the table. She didn't bring menus - we had to ask for them. When it came to ordering they had neither of the items I wanted in stock - no non-alcoholic beer, no liver & onions. So, I ordered the Angus Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. The fries were excellent and came with a nice Sciracha-Mayo dip, but the burger was nothing to rave about. The meat had no seasoning whatsoever, there was only a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice and a couple of slivers of onion on it - no other condiments. The dill pickle spear was OK. My wife ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich with Onion Rings. The onion rings were so-so and the sandwich was just dripping with excess liquid from the cole slaw condiment - extremely messy. Good, but nothing to rave about. The waitress only came by our table once while we were eating and, after we finished, we waited quite some time before she came back. Altogether, we were not impressed.

Discovered this place by accident after golfing on our way to Costco. Had the Reuben sandwhich, it was loaded and came with sweet potato fries. Was the best Reuben I've had for a long time, fries were nicely crisply. Prices were reasonable, service was excellent, and a great patio too.

The past experience at this place was pleasant. However, in my recent 2 visits there were just too many issues. Yesterday when my husband and I went in at around 2pm, the staff were just packing up their Sunday brunch stuff. I ordered the English style curry chicken. We waited for a quite long time and when the food came, I said oh this doesn't look that good. Before I started eating, I saw some black looking thing on my food. I thought it was some seasoning, so I picked it out by hand and it turned out it was hard plastic. I'm pretty sure it was a cocktail stir stick. I called the waitress and she went to the kitchen to tell the chefs I guess. When she walked out, she said 'they are not even drinking'. I think the kitchen was trying to say the customers left the cocktail stir stick on the food LOL but I was drinking water with a straw. Now it makes me think if the people in the kitchen were drinking. Where did the stick come from? Why was it on my food and what if i ate it?! We didn't get any discount or anything for that experience. The food was pretty bad too. I ordered this English style curry chicken in my last 2 visits and the rice was leftover or not fresh at all. I knew it because the rice was very hard and it only happens when you leave the rice out for too long. For $19 that food was just crap! This place was our go-to place but now the quality of the food is turning to be unacceptable.

Another go-to place for my wife and I. Love the wings. We've tried a lot of different things on the menu and have never been disappointed. Great atmosphere too.

Nice patio and interior. Service is average with nice service staff but wait times are a little long. The first time I went was closer to when the business first opened and the wonton nachos and fish tacos were great. Since then, I've been approximately 3 times with each seem to be having less satisfying entrees.

Sat on the patio on the first sunny day of the year and didn't even get served. Waitress walked by 4 times after 15 minutes we left and it wasn't even that busy.

Very good service and food as well. Nice outdoor patio and a great sports bar atmosphere or family restaurant.
