About the Business
The House That Jack Built is a unique shopping arcade in the heart of Plymouth's historic Barbican. The eclectic mix of independent specialist shops offers a rich diversity of high quality products unavailable on the high street. We are home to the famous mural "The Last Judgement" painted by Barbican artist Robert Lenkiewicz, which incorporates a stained glass window and iron gates. Above the retail shops, up the spiral staircase is the New Crystal Dragon chinese restaurant, perfect for a delicious evening meal in a traditional setting. Please visit our website www.thehousethatjackbuilt.org.uk to see our current shops and read all about the facsinating history of the arcade. We hope to see you soon!

Thi is a quirky little market which can be found on the abrbican in plymouth. you may nee some help finding it s it is very small and the front looks more like a small shop entarnce. there isnt enough here to keep you browsing for hours but there are a few trinkety type shops for those lookinf for a unique gift.

There are some lovely little shops here. There is an antiques shop, a militaria shop and a couple of jewellery shops. A lovely place to browse whilst on the Barbican. Prices in the jewellery shops are very reasonable and there are some lovely finds in the antique shop. Well worth a browse.
