This is a great pub for watching sport. They have sky and BT sport and show a great range of football. There aren't any projector screens but there are 4 TVs so you have a very good chance of getting a table where you can see one. You can reserve a table too, we haven't had to before, but I would consider it for a big game!

The draft Guinness is excellent and there is a pretty good selection of lager and ales. Prices are what you expect for a London pub and the staff are very welcoming.

I gave one less star for the toilets - the ladies are in a dire state!

Came here after a sunny walk down the river, was very impressed (even more so now after reading the terrible reviews).

Relaxed atmosphere with classic reggae, almost, covering the sound of the football on in the back. Slightly disappointing selection of beers on tap but peroni and the local wandle are ok.

We sat on comfortable, aged, slightly dirty sofa with a table 6 inches high...this was of course far too low to have anything to eat from, so we switched to another table where the seats were far too low and the table too high, the third one we tried was ok and recently vacated.

The classic, however, slightly chilli focused pub food was really good and pretty reasonable. I had the veggie flatbread, which was really more like a mini pesto, onion and tomato pizza...great fare.

Sat in the garden and had a poor pint of Wandle (I remember when I used to like this beer). There was a dirty sofa out there which divided opinion given that one friend was loving it while the other didn't appreciate the grit that rubbed off on him! It was decent inside but would be better without the TVs!

At the time of writing, the Normanby has just a 2.5 rating. Big Dave must do his bit to change this.

The Normanby changed ownership at some point this year. I don't know when exactly, it might have even been last year. Either way the big man doesn't care. All I know is that when I go in they know my name, serve ice cold beer whilst I watch the football on one of the many screens, offer the best pub burgers anywhere this side of the thames (chicken deluxe every time), have poker nights, events on weekends and still charge less than the tourist traps just down the river. The Normanby is the epitome of the modern local.

I assume the poor rating is down to the previous set up. Well Big Dave is here to let the world know things have changed and the Normanby is now his go to pub in South West London. When you visit please make sure you bring your sister.

Visited this place and found it had a nice interior nice sofas ect... went back a few times with my girl friends and then found out what is was really like! They have a pool table in a small corner room cost £5 per hour and also have Football on TV to keep the men happy, then i heard from the manager they were going to have a Belly dance class there for the ladies, my friends and i thought great! we will come along but guess what the owner said? (after all has been agreed) If the girls use the small corner room for one hour he will charge them £100 !!!! (NASTY) So ladies be warned! he does not want ladies there how can he get away with this i do not know but my money is just as good as any guys!
