Brill brill brill!! my 3 friends and mum organised happylittlestars to cheer me up after an uncomfortable pregnancy, it was a fantastic idea. it really did the trick for the last few weeks.
I had about 12 guests at home which in my house was about enough. We did drinking games through a babies bottle, baby quizzes and we sat for most of the evening with a baby's bib round my neck! Guaranteed to make anyone giggle. A proper good girls night in with baby shower twists.
I also had my baby belly painted into a liverpool fc football! my boyfriend loved it! lol
I even got a whole chocolate bar which was personalised for me!
Everyone should have one!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (nichol…)Manchester, United Kingdom0217 Jun 2010
I booked a baby shower not really knowing what to expect. I wanted some fun with my friends, but with someone to do the work for me as at 32 weeks pregnant I was not in the mood for organising parties. All my friends are busy with their kids and so it seemed a good option to go with hiring someone to do the shower for me. I made the right choice. Wendy threw me a great shower. We had games and quizzes and lots of laughter. I vaguely remember something with play doh too. All my friends enjoyed it and the last to leave was 1.30 am (although not totally recommended for higly pregnant ladies :-). I also received a 'cake' present made up of nappies etc...very creative, Wendy also provided the catering and drinks. Wonderful to have everything done for me, and the party 'led' by an entertaining host. Highly recommended.
