I love this place. Nice local restaurant bistro. It's small cozy and the staff friendly. There is outdoor seating g, about a dozen tables and bar seating.
I have had several soups , quiches and some entrees here and all were delicious. Prices are reasonable.

Really terrible service. Took more than 20 minutes to get anyone to even ask if I wanted anything in a fairly empty space. As I was getting up to leave a server finally decided to turn his head to me. Ordered two spreads that were clearly premade. Took 25 more minutes until I asked another person where my food was. It was sitting there the entire time. Then I asked for the check and was told it's cash only. Fine, tried to give the guy the correct change but he couldn't even count what it was and there were only two bills of 20 and 10 Euros. Intelligence is not one their strong suits. Original server never showed up again, no napkins were offered, no apologies. Not sure where they hire these people but please avoid stopping by. It was a twilight zone experience.

Honestly best place for cheesecake! Shit man this is so gorgeous here,you will not get these fatty cheese stuff, that will make you reflux and feel like you were drinking melted butter, no easy light cheesecake with a fruity taste of lemon - soft and so yummy.

I can also recommend the tuna past - it is a little pricy but still awesome enough.

The room is wallpapered with old movie posters - fits perfect to the costumers, who appear to be in the art scene. Everyone knows each other!

Great little cafe just outside the city center in Düsseldorf. Friendly service and a wonderful breakfast. The croissant is massive and it is enough to be shared. Would definitely recommend it if you want a casual, no frills breakfast or brunch.

On a hot sunny Sunday, what better way to spend it eating a hearty brunch for a great price! The menu for two combines both savory and sweet: bread basket, big croissant, cold cuts, cheese, boiled eggs, jams, and yogurt with fruits. Probably the best bit is the big croissant. The adjective "big" is in front of the noun for a reason! Friendly staff, lovely outdoor seating on a small quiet street, and funky indoor design. Don't just stand there, go!

Simple, trendy and for me personally one of the best brunch in town: "Frühstuck für Zwei" - freshly baked bread, good assortment of meat and cheese, freshly baked croissant (best in town) eggs and fresh fruit with yogurts - yummy!

Zicke is a wonderful little bistro on a lovely little road just out of the center. It's quirky, warm, cosy, the walls are covered with old exhibition posters, candles...perfect for when you are feeling a little fragile and breakfast is served until 4pm on the weekends! We went for the breakfast for two and it was huge and delicious; boiled eggs, selection of cold meats and cheese, selection of fresh breads, croissants, jams, yogurt topped with fresh fruit! I would highly recommend a visit!
