No frills, no AC, value-for-money chinese "zi char" (煮炒 literally: cook n fry) spot located in an industrial estate.
Look for the brightly lit canteen and blinking neon lights at the intersection of Lower Delta Road and Jalan Bukit Merah. As the sun sets, the canteen in the middle of the parking lot comes alive with diners.
They have a couple of signature dishes that shouldn't be missed: the wok fried shrimp (避风塘炒虾), Nonya Assam Fish Head, Signature Homemade Beancurd (招牌豆腐) and the shrimp rolls (泉记虾枣).
Prices are good, but don't expect much in terms of atmosphere. They have certainly come a long way from a stall in Tanjong Rhu hawker center. They have another location in Toa Payoh as well, if this location is a little out of the way for you.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
