Great Place to have some good food! I love the design of the place and they even have a few tablet and benches outside, which is just great when the weather is good.

I enjoyed a chicken kebab, with a fresh salat and a good tzaziki,
The two kebabs where small (around 5 chicken pieces each) compared what i get for the price when i have it in germany. But that might be a bit unfair, cause the rent will be high here. The quality was very good and the meat had a great grill mark and char. That what grilled food should always have and then you don't need any aromas. My friend had a lamb gyro which was as well smaller then expected but he said he liked it. I will try the chicken gyro next time.
The tsatiki was just a very small side and i am sure i would gotten more if i had asked for, which i did not had the time for!

Due to pricing and portion size they lost a star, and i have to compare it with Tara Grill and Bar in Napa which got five star. This one is closer and has great food, so go for it / you want regret it!

I've tried the lamb kebab, the house salad with lamb gyro and the beet salad, which are all delicious. Great wine selection.
Lunch is crowded with UCSF staff.
The owner and all of the staff are exceptionally nice. So glad to have a delicious and affordable option in this area!

Came in on a Sunday afternoon before the Giants game, and had a great feast at SF Kebab!  Cool decor - they had an outdoor area too, but it was a bit windy that day, so we sat at a humongous single-piece polished wood dining table, I would love this thing in my house.  You could tell everything was new or reclaimed, a good sign since this place evidently just opened.

Kids went to town on a big appetizer plate with fantastic hummus, dolmas, olives, rice,  babaganoush, and a couple falafel that were crunchy on the outside and done just right.  The warm pitas were a huge hit with my kids.

I had the Combo Platter which had gyro meats, a kofta, a couple kebabs for good measure, and some salad greens.  I was delighted with it, everything was done right and had great seasoning.   Wife had a gyro wrap which she said totally reminded her of European street food, as she was hoping.

There were 6 beer taps and some beer and wine bottles for sale.   I saw 21st Amendment, Anchor, Ballast Point, Anderson Valley, Drake's, Sierra Nevada, and I think it was Blue Moon. There were others I don't recall, but yeah this beer guy was happy here.

There were some nice looking bottles of wine too, and the drinks seemed very affordable for this area, especially poignant as I headed off to the beer-money black hole that is the ballpark.  I ended up having a Turkish coffee, which is strong and tiny and had a different and interesting taste... and a cool dessert called Kazandibi that was aptly described to me as a Kurdish Flan.

Loved it, will definitely be back.

The long anticipated SF Kebab is now open and it was well worth the wait!

Located right next to UCSF's Mission Hall and across the street from the hospital, this new, family-owned Mediterranean restaurant is sure to become a fan favorite.

Place is very clean (having just opened) and the food is pretty good! I ordered the Chicken Gyro plate which came with salad, rice, and tahini sauce. What made the restaurant stand out was the service. Everyone here is extremely friendly and excited to finally be open.

I will definitely be coming back for second lunches and happy hours!

As everyone is saying, this restaurant is in its first week of operation and might need some time to get a groove going. The menu has many appealing items on it, and I expect to be back quite a bit since I work in the building.

I tried the arugula and beet salad dressed in a deliciously sweet and tangy dressing, which was also dotted with soft goat cheese. This is a winner, although I had to engage my knife to deal with the beet slices since they weren't soft enough to cut with my fork alone. I also tried the spanakopita, which was was two pieces baked to a nice golden brown and filled with nicely seasoned spinach and cheese. I liked this version, as the phyllo wrapping was a little more substantial than I'm used to and didn't shatter when I bit into or cut it.

My friend had the falafel platter, which came with four golf-ball-sized falafel, a good dollop of tabbouleh that looked very fresh and bright, and a big smear of hummus drizzled with a bit of  olive oil. Inexplicably, instead of pita, he was served a big, sorta flattened roll alongside, which he didn't touch. Maybe they were out of pita, since the ordering line was about 30-people-deep when we walked in at 12:15 and only continued to grow while we sat. The falafel was a bit on the hard side texture-wise, so I wouldn't want to eat them in wrap. A knife and fork were carefully wielded to unleash the crunchy, nicely-seasoned flavor.

They don't seem to have started their breakfast service since they didn't open today until after 11 a.m. That menu also looks great, so I'll review again once I've tried a couple of morning items, and also when I've tried a few of the delectable-sounding desserts!

I ordered the lamb meal.  The vegetable and lamb were burned very badly.  I called the waiter to come over.  He took a look.  He said "what do you expect me to do.  I am just a person to deliver food".  I told him "it is completely burned into black.  I cannot eat something like this".  He said he would ask the chef.  After waiting for a long time, new dish came to me with partial bleeding lamp.  $18 for food like this quality and service manner.  I will not go again.

My co-workers are all disappointed at their meals here.  We all do not want to come here again.  It is $$$$ price with terrible service and low quality food.

Love the ambience and layout of the restaurant. More importantly the service and food were great! Friendly staff, fresh and tasty food. Hummus was the best! We tried almost every item on the dessert menu except for the cheesecake - will do that next time. Will be back for sure!!

Met my buddies here for a quick lunch.  Ordered the beef an lamb gyro wrap.  Delicious.  Food quality was very fresh.  Staff was super nice.  This is how a restaurant should be run. Food was fairly priced and was ready quick.

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and it was delicious! Great service - very attentive. We had the mezze platter to start, which gives you a taste of several appetizers - the falafel and hummus were awesome! Then the combo platter because we wanted a taste of everything. The lamb and beef gyro was the favorite. Definately will order that plate next time. We finished with the baklava which was perfect. Highly recommend and we will come back soon!

I had been looking forward to coming here for quite a while, in part because it was on the verge of opening for months, and because there is not much other similar food nearby (besides the occasional truck in spark social)

Overall, I was a bit let down. I ordered a lamb/beef gyro plate, a hummus appetizer, and a Turkish coffee. The food all came quickly, but after ~15+ minutes of waiting, determined that they forgot about my coffee. After reminding them and waiting another 5 minutes, my order was finally complete (although a bit cold at that point). I normally don't care so much about the quality of service, but pretty much the bare minimum expectation of service is that you get the things that you order.

The gyro meat was unlike most gyro meat I've experienced. Gyro meat, as far as I'm aware, is usually compressed (usually with some fat added to keep things moist) and as a result has a texture like sausage or meatloaf. This gyro meat had a texture more like somewhat dry roast beef, but did have a bit of nice gamey flavor. The hummus was super smooth in texture, which I find a bit off-putting, but maybe others prefer it that way. The pita does not seem to be made in house, and so is not anything too special.

The coffee seemed to have been heavily sweetened, which I was also not a fan of, but it may just mean that when ordering the Turkish coffee, you should specify how much sugar to add (or maybe they should ask the customers preference).

Also, at $12-13 for a rice plate entree, I'd say they're not that great value considering the quality of food you can find at the same price at spark social
