If one takes the path less travelled on the way from Syracuse to Canada, you might take the road to Sackets Harbor. There you will find a small village, a killer view of the lake, and warm service! Oh, and some strong beers too!

I had a train sampler, you have to see for your self if it's a wreck or a nice ride ;)

The standouts were the Amber and Double IPA, both good for a nice break on a long drive. You can grab a solid meal and catch a game at the bar, or take in the breadth of Lake Ontario. I recommend the Rueben and fresh cut fries.

The chicken & waffles are so good you will swear you are in the south! The whole atmosphere is genuine, friendly, and laiiiiid back. So much so that I'm just fitting this review in from over a year ago!

The chicken has an amazing dusting of spicy kick, not to greasy, and just the right amount of crunchy goodness. The waffles are BIG, but are well done as a compliment to the chicken. The beans, corn bread and Mac & cheese were great too.

The grades are in, and Mrs. Sandra Dee gets an "A" in my book!

When in an Empire State of mind, but you are stuck in Syracuse, nothing gets you there faster than Empire Brewing!

Located beneath a building, with an entrance resembling a daring entrance into a NY subway, this brewery opens up into a fun place for a good night with friends.

They have a fairly large menu for both eats and brews. I had samples of a few recommendations.

      The tasting:
I had an Apricot Ale, which was very champagne like. The Liv and Let Rye IPA Is a sad attempt in name to be like the better Live Free or Die IPA from 21st Amendment brewing in San Francisco. It was a great beer though. The Stout was smokey and smooth, the Pale Ale good, and the White Afro refreshing!

The food was complimentary of the brews, which is all you can ask of a brewery.

All in all, I'm all for one here!

Sadly, I finally took notice of this place as I was transitioning from 4 years living in Sacto to Cincinnati. The outer appearance and location completely does the interior injustice!

This is a cozy, small dinner spot. I highly recommend this for a date or couples night. The venue isn't ideal for children or large families.

The selection of brews is off the charts! They have something for every type. They have a healthy dose of IPAs, which really makes me hoppy :)

They had Pliny the Elder on tap for you cult followers. They also have plenty of wine options and a nice bar for drinks.

Overall, this is a great date night spot to wrap into some deep conversation over a few libations... Preferably brews! Cheers!

I have had multiple experiences with chiropractic's over the past few years. Dr. Delphine Deignan and the entire staff at Elite provide first class, professional, friendly service with a clear mastery of how your back sets the foundation for your body's overall well being. Dr. Delphine is very patient and good at articulating how your back is contributing to issues you may be experiencing with your overall health.

When I need to get in quickly they are always available, and they offer reasonable prices, which drives me to come back more often for care.

The hip bone is connected to the leg bone you know... And they are all connected to your back bone! Come see Dr. Delphine and the wonderful staff at Elite Chiropractic!
