How do you prepare to have one of the best chicken sandwiches of your life, even when you're heading to a place that has a reputation for great chicken? In my case, you don't, as I had other things on my mind when I finally pulled into my first Royal Farms.

Yes, the fried chicken is good, but nothing that stands out more from your standard "good" fried chicken. Their atomic pulled chicken sandwich on a potato roll, which has spicy sauce and banana peppers? That is one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had, anywhere. Believe you me I'll be seeking that out monthly, at minimum, at whatever RoFo location is nearby.

Oh, and they have gas too :-)
